Conditions

The house is let from 3 pm on Saturday until 10 am on the final Saturday unless agreed in writing.

Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of a cheque payable to S.E.Russell for a deposit of 25% of the weekly rent. The balance plus a second cheque for the breakage deposit (see below) will be required at least 8 weeks prior to your holiday.

A refund can normally be obtained subject to the conditions of your own Personal and Cancellation insurance. If a cancellation occurs more than 8 weeks before arrival, which is not covered by your insurance, the hirer will not be held liable for the balance. Should such a cancellation occur less than 8 weeks but more than 4 weeks before arrival then the hirer is liable for the full cost of the letting. We will, however, make every effort to re-let the property, in which event a full refund, less deposit and any expenses or additional costs incurred will be made.

A refundable breakage deposit of £200 is required, payable with the final balance. This is held to cover any breakage or damage that may occur. This deposit less the cost of any breakage etc that may occur, will be refunded within two weeks after the end of your stay. The weekly rental includes linen and normal cleaning of the property, any extra cleaning deemed necessary after departure will be charged and the amount deducted from the breakage deposit. Should the deposit be inadequate to cover such charges, it is a condition of booking that any balances be paid promptly following notification.

The use of the accommodation and amenities is entirely at the user's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury to a user or visitor or loss or damage to the user's or visitor's belongings. The hirer is further responsible for the safe use of the swimming pool by their fellow party members.

Personal belongings and baggage are at the hirer's risk at all times.

No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to any vehicle.

The hirer is responsible under French law for the care of the property and its contents during the holiday.

It is important to ensure that an appropriate personal and cancellation holiday insurance is in place giving adequate cover.
